I have been doing research on how to grow my business as an artist. I want to be as serious about my art as I am about my farming.
I have opened a Tumblr account. Never heard of this forum before this morning and so am still learning about it.

I have not thought of myself as a serious artist, but I guess that was because I was not serious. So, I have begun subscribing to a few newsletters from Cory Huff and Owen Garratt and learning all I can from them on how to further my art career. So, step by step and inch by inch I travel down the road, which my natural self never dreamed I would be on. I am not a social creature. I like being by myself (with the exception of my husband). This is all new for me, but "if you have always done what you have always done, you will always get what you have always gotten." I am not complaining about what I have always gotten, but why limit myself.
There is another saying, "Pigs don't know pigs stink!"
I am happy with where I am in my life, but one needs to continually grow and not live in a rut or in the pig wallow. I am testing the waters and asking the Lord to be with me and show me if this is a direction He wants me to pursue.
So, follow me on this journey if you will, as I don't want to "Stand on the sidelines and watch the parade of life pass me by."
