About Me
I took my first painting lesson when I was 11 at the house of Mrs. Krizan. I would go once a week with a few others after school and she would teach us. I was a student of hers will I was 17. After that I just painted when I felt moved and drifted into photography.
I have no formal training for either. It is just something I enjoy.
Six years ago, we moved south with our two cats and bought a mini-farm. A few years later we share our little plot with a dozen cattle, half a dozen or so pigs and turkeys and about a hundred chickens, four cats and two dogs and most recently an Oberhasli goat named Trixie.
They have been the focus of my photography and painting lately, though I do offer some from our various trips around the world: Turkey, Czech Republic, Poland, South Africa, Swaziland, Thailand and all around the states.
